Walthamstow Wetlands, a partnership project between Thames Water, London Wildlife Trust and the London Borough of Waltham Forest, is collaborating with the London Fire Brigade to put together a unique Water Safety Awareness Event on Friday 19th April between 11am-4pm. The Water Safety Awareness Event will be a great day out for the entire family and a fantastic opportunity to learn more about water safety challenges and procedures. There will be live water rescue, throw line and first aid demonstrations by the London Fire Brigade as well as a number of fun and engaging children’s activities and information stalls.
