2021 Theatrical Mental Health Night Supporting CALM Support by Waltham Forest Council
After two successful performances in May 2019, Script to Performance aims to increase its success of the performances last year and double the proceeds (£360) it raised last year for the mental health charity, CALM. Script to Performance wants to shine a lot on the wealth of talent in East London and show that mental health comes in many forms. To add to Script to Performance success, we have been awarded funding from Waltham Forest Council.
The Venue
CentrE17 is located at 1 Church Hill, E17 3AB – only 5 minutes’ walk from Walthamstow Central (Victoria Line) bus, train and underground station.
There is NO parking at the venue. If you must bring a car there is parking at The Mall shopping centre, however it closes at 10pm.
Please wear masks attending the venue and maintain social distancing. Online sales only so make sure to book your tickets on our website below.
Script to Performance
We are an incorporated association that creates theatrical productions relating to mental health issues and provides a therapeutic atmosphere for its audience members who watch our performances. We hope Theatripy is the first of many performances that create a unique theatrical experience that spreads awareness about mental health topics.
CALM
Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is an organisation that leads a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK. The charity organises campaigns against living miserably, raises awareness about suicide prevention through their campaigns and front-line services to people who need to talk about their problems.
Venue: CentrE17, 1 Church Hill, E17 3AB
