The new Fellowship fountain sits at the heart of Fellowship Square framed by the iconic Town Hall.
Designed as a space for everyone to enjoy, the Fellowship Fountain is a welcoming, safe and accessible space for residents and visitors.
Retaining the original vision as imagined by architect Phillip Hepworth, the new fountain is formed around a central plinth with a feature central jet, but also has an additional 144 individual jets which can be programmed to dance to music. Multi-coloured lights illuminating the water jets add to the visual impact and bring the space to life.
The new fountain has been designed to flood to create a reflection pool where kids can enjoy splashing about through the summer months. A recirculating water system will reduce water consumption. The Fountain will be active at various times through-out the summer and winter months. A specially choreographed 15 minute light and sound display will be running every Saturday and Sunday at 8pm.
