Weekly sewing classes at the fabulous and well stocked cheekyhandmades’ studio.
1.5 hours of fun, techniques, creativity and projects every Monday from 4 – 5.30. There will be some separate weekend classes and summer holiday ones too.
Taught by the lovely Cloud, who has just graduated from the London College of Fashion and has already got a wealth of teaching experience under their belt. Cloud is friendly, helpful, encouraging, fun! A very welcome addition to the Cheekyhandmades’ family. Cloud is DBS registered and has been working with children for years.
The classes will see kids making clothes, accessories, etc and getting a thorough grounding in sewing skills. All materials and use of machines and other tools are all included in the price.
Before the first class we will ask you to fill in a detailed contact form. Please note we would love to know in advance if your child has any needs such as dyspraxia or sensory processing issues so we can take this in to account. All ND and neurotypical kids welcome, it is just good for us to be able to tailor things slightly.
Please note your child will need to be able to reach the sewing machine pedal sitting on a normal chair. If they are slightly too short pls let us know and we can try to improvise but we will need to know this in advance.
