Did you know that 24 million slices of bread are wasted on average every day in the UK? North London Waste Authority has commissioned Keep Britain Tidy to deliver a series of free cookery workshops hosted by local schools aimed at helping you reduce your bread waste at home.

Each workshop kicks off with a demonstration by our professional chefs of how to make a delicious bread and butter pudding, before moving on to the main part of the workshop where you’ll get the chance to make and eat a delicious panzanella salad with bread croutons yourself.

You’ll come away with some great tips on how to make your bread last longer, as well as some free food waste reduction tools and bread based recipe ideas. Our professional chefs have been running community cookery workshops for many years, so be sure to bring along any burning questions you may have and our chefs will be able to answer them.

Booking is essential as places are limited to 20 per workshop.
