Join us for the official launch of Waltham Forest FUNGUS FORTNIGHT with an evening of mushroom-inspired film
We are excited to present a screening of Planet Fungi, a mycological safari into the forests of the Eastern Himalayas. The film follows photographer Stephen Axford and local tribal guides on a journey of discovery into a world of extraordinary, beautiful and bizarre mushrooms… a world beyond imagination. They share their knowledge of fungi that kill, the fungi they eat, fungi that is used for medicine, and the fungi that are important to the other creatures of their jungle.
