The Outbursts bring their manic brand of mad punk rock back to the WO and are joined by Gerry & The Toys and Graham Larkbey (in solo mode).
This will also see the launch of Gerry’s Save Our NHS CD. I’ll let Gerry explain:
“I had the idea of doing a CD to raise funds for Waltham Forest Save Our NHS who campaign against cuts in our local health service and to do new recordings of the songs on The Fenzyx (my first band) single Angels of Mercy b/w Soldiers which protested against the closure of The Royal Northern Hospital in Holloway Road in the 1980s. The original versions will appear on the compilation album ‘Bored teenagers Volume 10’ next year. The cd has 6 tracks in total performed by Gerry and the Toys but also includes a number of guest musicians from North London including singer/song writer Maggi Ronson, Starlighters Theatre Company singer/actress Sandra Jerome, Steve White and the Protest Family banjo player Russ Chandler, Noel Martin from Menace, Geoff Bedingfield from Demon Preacher, and film score composer Eleanor Firman. The CD will cost £5 and all the money will go to WF Save Our NHS.”
