A night of socially conscious music in the beautiful surroundings of St. Mary’s Church, Walthamstow. Part of Music Action International’s new series showcasing artists from around the world passionate about transforming lives affected by war, torture and armed conflict. Featuring the inspiring Everyday People LDN choir made up of a group of young refugees and asylum seekers performing new material inspired by their hopes and dreams for a better future, fresh from a creative music residency at King’s Place. And Israeli-born singer / songwriter Noga Ritter backed by a 9-piece band, whose music brings together West African grooves and diasporic mélanges of Afro-Brazilian hints, re-elaborated in fresh jazz harmonies.
