Music Halls Project & Lake of Stars present a night of live music from southern / east Africa. Traditional Malawian duo Madalitso Band play authentic, acoustic roots music. Rhythmic playing and a joyful stage presence combine to make you clap, dance and smile. Kenyan singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rapasa Nyatrapasa Otieno plays several indigenous instruments, including the Nyatiti, an eight-string lyre. His music fuses the traditional heritage of Nyatiti-playing along with his own unique sound.
