PLEASE NOTE: THIS WORKSHOP TAKES PLACE OVER TWO EVENINGS. WE WILL BE MAKING SCULPTURES ON THE FIRST DAY, WE CAN TAKE OUR CREATIONS HOME WITH INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO BAKE THE SCULPTURES, AND THE NEXT DAY WE WILL BE PAINTING THEM
This workshop will get kids working creatively with their hands, kneading, rolling, and sculpting salt dough into their own unique creations to then be baked and hardened at home in the oven. Children will also get the chance to paint their sculptures learning basic colour mixing. At the end of the workshop, they would be able to take home their colourful creations that they created from simple ingredients found in the kitchen!

Camilla Dilshat is a sculpture and installation artist born and based in London making art about growing up in the Uyghur diaspora. She is currently exploring how food can act as both a comfort and discomfort.
