Bertie Armstrong, Merle Harbron and Holly Clarke are polished,technically sound and their tight vocal harmonies sour through tales of wilderness,Spanish Kings and US Foriegn policy. The Reivers, from the Anglo Scottish boirder, combine the traditional styles of Old time banjo, Scottish fiddle and the Ballad singing tradition. They choose their songs well but sing them even better. Storytelling and anecdotes gel their sets well and above all they entertain.
