Having toured with Artisan and Mrs Ackroyd, Hilary has returned to solo work. She has been described as the vocal powerhouse of Artisan and, as you would expect from someone who toured with Les Barker in Mrs Ackroyd, there is nothing po-faced about her acapella act. One folk club organiser described the evening as ‘Serious and silly, soaring and searing’.
