Join me for this online dressmakign class! I will supply the pattern and can supply the fabric and thread etc too. We will go through measuring, adjusting the pattern to create a perfect fit, cutting out fabric, marking on to the fabric, and then sewing up a final garment. There will be lots of other things we will discuss during tha class, everything from the problems with fast fashion and shop sizing to dart manupulation and fabric choices, shops, how to cut corners and where you need to be accurate.
You will need your own sewing machine – or you can rent one off me – and you need to be able to indipendently thread up a machine, understand seam allowances and know how to sew a straight line. I will take you through the rest!
The class will run on Thursday evenings 8-9:30pm, and will initially run for four weeks with an option to extend this if desired. The cost is for the first four weeks plus the pattern delivered to you, and once you have booked in it will be possible to pay for a supplies pack of fabric, thread, elastic and needles.
