Incorporating ‘A Day In the Life of Music’, now in its 25th year, this well-known, local festival, will see hundreds of people flock to enjoy A Craft Fayre, Live Music including Rock, Pop, Jazz, Choral, Bag Pipes and displays by community groups, Kid’s Entertainment, Fun Fair Rides etc.
The festival takes place on The Green, St Peter & Paul’s Church and Church Hall in Station Road, Chingford E4 7EN and The King’s Head Pub, 2b Kings Head Hill, Chingford, London E4 7EA.
Started in 1994, it’s believed to be the biggest independently run community event of its type for miles around.
FRONT & BACK GREEN AREAS
The Main Stage will be on The Front Green, featuring rock, blues & various genres of music as well as dance and sports displays. NEW for 2019 – The Kid’s dedicated area is on the front green. This will have lots of FREE entertainment as well as stalls that have kid’s in mind!!
There are also Craft, Community & Business Stalls. Join in sports taster sessions, The Festival Licenced bar, Ice Cream, Candy Floss, & Food Stalls, Bouncy Castles, roundabouts, swing boats etc.
NEW for 2019 The King’s Head Pub
Will feature 7 hours of live music with much of it being original in the form of a ‘Songwriter’s Showcase’. There will be a few stalls in the car park and the pub will be serving not only drinks but a good selection of food.
VESTRY HALL
The Acoustic Café – Featuring Live Acoustic Music. Refreshments and as a new addition this year will have Craft Stalls.
ST PETER & PAUL’S CHURCH
An afternoon of Music – Choral – Choirs & Violins Players and also sees the new addition of Craft Stalls within the church.
The Chingford Village Festival is a now a registered trade mark and only authorised venues and third parties can trade using that name.
