Sophie Crawford and George Sansome are the founders of Queer Folk – an organisation that researches queer music and champions LGBTQIA+ musicians. They perform songs together accompanied by guitar, bouzouki, and accordion. It is folk, as we all know it, through a different lens and they are great entertainers.
Sophie’s album Silver Pin was Mainly Norfolk’s album of the year in 2018, she was first to play the Songwoman in ‘War Horse’ . George plays with BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award nominees Granny’s Attic.
