We miss Pastamind, but never fear Rowan is here to save the day with a Virtual Quiz!
Our wonderful quiz host Rowan is back and we will be holding a virtual quiz to help raise much needed funds for Samaritans of Waltham Forest! The tickets are pay-what you-can, subject to a minimum of £5!
Every ticket is entered into a prize draw for £40 generously donated by Stow Brothers.
When and where is it?
Join us from the comfort of your home on Friday 24th July (24/7 – just like Samaritans – geddit!), the virtual “doors” open at 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start.
Instructions:
· Team Size: 4-8 people per team
· One member of the team should be “designated scribe” that means you submit one “Round” per team. You will do this via the google form link below.
· If you haven’t got the minimum number for a team, we suggest you pair up “virtually” with another household. You could do this by creating a Whatsapp group to create your “team” where you can then discuss answers, but no googling!
· All of the questions will be provided by Rowan, and you’ll need to login to Zoom to do this
· Your team needs to have a “team name” that the designated scribe can put at the top of each rounds form
· Once you’ve press submit – that’s it your answers are in and you can’t change them.
What you will need
We will send you the link to Zoom with instructions about how to download and use it, 1 hour before the quiz begins.
You will need a PC, laptop or iPad to access the Virtual “Quiz night”, and you will need to download Zoom. Downloading Zoom is really quick and easy and the instructions and link to do this will be in the email with your Bingo Tickets.
You will need a webcam, microphone and speakers on your PC, laptop or iPad so that you can hear our wonderful quiz master, and join in the fun.
How to join in
Buy your ticket, and we will send you links to the quiz links and Zoom Link prior to the event. We are asking you to pay what you can subject to a minimum of £5. You can choose your ticket at https://ticketlab.co.uk/events/samaritanswf .
Tickets must be bought in advance at latest 3 hours before the event.
BEFORE BUYING YOU NEED TO DECIDE ON YOUR TEAM NAME- AND ENTER IT IN TO THE FIELD AT THE POINT OF PURCHASE.
WE CAN HAVE A MAX OF TWELVE TEAMS.
