Travel to different Latin American countries with these accomplished and experienced performers, exploring colourful and varied musical landscapes, some no doubt familiar and some perhaps completely new!
Partners in music and in life for nearly 3 decades, Rob Thaller & Joanna Reynolds are seasoned performers. For this concert, they’ll be drawing inspiration from the Latin American musicians they’ve had the privilege of performing with over the years. From Salsa to Bossa Nova and beyond, expect a vibrant evening of rhythm, melody, and lots of heart. Adding an exciting new layer to the performance is a special guest appearance by their daughter, Kendra Thaller — fresh from graduating Mountview’s Actor Musician programme — bringing her talents on vocals, violin and bass to the family stage.
Innovative musician, composer and poet, Ricardo Curbelo will take you on a colourful journey through his work, Matiz, which combines traditional music from a variety of Latin American countries with many of his own spellbinding compositions.
Vibrant, energetic and jazzy pieces together with more gentle, captivating melodies and romantic songs, will create a variety of musical experiences evoking a wide range of emotions. The sound of his Modelo Corvado harp, which he designed and constructed himself, always adds to the uniqueness of his performances, which continue to take audiences by surprise and earn him many enthusiastic compliments!

Since coming to England from his native Colombia in 1979, Ricardo has given many successful solo concerts and shared the stage with many other fine musicians in the UK and Ireland. He is delighted to be presenting this concert with Joanna, Rob and Kendra at The Leytonstone Social .
