Acclaimed UK Guitarist Nick Costley-White leads his trio featuring Conor Chaplin (Laura Jurd, Marius Neset) on bass and Josh Morrison (Stacey Kent, Dave O Higgins) on drums. The band is fresh from the studio recording their debut EP “Nice Work!”, featuring compositions by some of the greats of the modal jazz era alongside favourites from the American Songbook. Having notched up hundred of hours on the bandstand together they’ve honed their trio sound over the course of years of gigging on the London jazz circuit. Expect swinging and dynamic improvising from three of the most in demand players in the country.
For this special appearance at Eastside Jazz Club they’ve invited top class pianist Will Barry (Jasper Holby, Alex Hitchcock) to join the trio for what is sure to be a really exciting collaboration!
