Maddy Coombs Quartet ft Sultan Stevenson

Maddy is a young up-and-coming tenor saxophonist from Northampton, and is currently in her final year at the Guildhall School and is an alumni of Tomorrow’s Warriors. She has played alongside artists including Judi Jackson, Shabaka Hutchings and Olivia Dean, but aims to explore new compositional sounds with her own all-star band of Tomorrow’s Warriors alumni, which consists of Sultan Stevenson on piano, Zoe Pascal on drums, and Menelik Claffey on the double bass. Be prepared for a set of mostly original tunes that draw inspiration from the jazz idiom played by this exciting young band.
