Headliner: Steve N Allen
“Allen hits the mark, with an effusive mix of biting satire and gleeful mud-slinging that recalls Russell Howard by way of Ian Hislop. More than worth a look.”
– Three Weeks

He is also an experienced comedian and host who is at home anywhere on the bill, with a warm and upbeat act that soon connects with any audience.
His material ranges from an observational look at life to up to date topical comedy – or shows solely based on the interaction with the crowd.
As a stand-up Steve has performed in comedy clubs all across the UK and Europe. He has also performed at comedy festivals in Edinburgh, Brighton and Leicester with versions of his solo topical comedy show “Some News” that dissects the news and how we use it.
Steve has been heard as a news commentator and satirist on TV and on radio, including TalkRadio, Fubar Radio, LBC and BBC Radio London.
He also presents a weekly topical comedy show on BBC Radio Kent
“★★★★ biting satire” (-Three Weeks) and “cutting wit” (-Time Out) with a “charming and witty persona” (-Chortle). A self-confessed news addict, Steve keeps his finger on the pulse of current affairs. Whether as an on-air news commentator or as “a performer with masses of talent” (-Fringe Review) on stage, Steve is “very funny and sometimes bizarre”. (-Surrey Mirror)

Special Guest Gerry K
Anecdotal, observational and refreshingly honest in style, Gerry’s comedy is enriched by a somewhat unique perspective: Real name Gerry Kyei (pronounced “Chay”), Gerry was born in the East End, but grew up in rural Essex, as a rare black face in an almost totally white and very parochial area (a million miles away from the traditional Essex stereotype towns like Harlow, Basildon, Romford and Southend). In addition to providing some truly original insights into life in rural England, these early experiences have ensured Gerry’s comedy delights an incredible range of audiences often confounds expectations.
Starting in comedy as the result of a dare, his rise to headline act was a quick one, scooping a range of accolades along the way including; The Comedy Store’s ‘King Gong’, Metrolife Comedy Newcomer, and The Comedy Café’s Best Newcomer Awards.
Now a regular and in-demand headline act both in the UK and overseas, Gerry has played all of the nation’s leading clubs including The Comedy Store, Jongleurs, Komedia. He is also a firm favourite on the corporate circuit and for after-dinner speaking engagements.
As an actor he has appeared on The Bill and Angelo’s and recently enjoyed a cameo role on Jimmy Carr’s Xmas DVD. As a presenter, he’s hosted the football forum with former England international and I’m A Celebrity bad boy Rodney Marsh and legendary Sky host Jeff Stelling for Zoo Magazine and has also guested on BBC Nottingham’s ‘The Breakfast Show’.
With his energetic and likeable personality, infectious joie de vivre and a beaming smile that warms up the coldest of nights, Gerry K is a truly feelgood act.

In 2012 he was coaxed back into stand up after being cited as an example of a “really, really, funny” comedian by a regular former headliner (now an International movie director/scriptwriter) in a TV interview.
In the short space of time since his return he has built a reputation as a solid compere with his no nonsense yet approachable persona providing the continuity and flow needed for any night of comedy.

Despite his willingness to improvise boldly, Ray shares vulnerability in a funny way, which endears the crowd to follow his comic creation.” – Dave Thompson (International headline Comedian)
The Birch Hotel Comedy benefit night for St Peter & St James Hospice. “Ray Davis performed a brilliant set for us. He interacted well with the audience and had everybody laughing. Quick witted while responding and very comfortable on stage. Recommend booking this guy.” – Craig Ghochani
“Ray delivered a great set of dark and deadpan material with some fun audience interaction (ladies, keep your handbags under your chairs!). His on-stage persona is both scary and funny. Look forward to seeing him again.” – David Shakespeare, Honest Comedy
