Scottish Folk band Breabach bring their award-winning sound and unique musicianship to Walthamstow. Combining twin bagpipes, fiddle, mandolin, bass and guitar with Gaelic vocals and step dance, the band are at the forefront of the UK’s world and roots music scene.  With support from Josh Geffin, known for his inventive finger-picking guitar style and poetic lyrics. Part of the Music Halls Project which brings exciting live music programming to public spaces in Waltham Forest.

Mindfulness & Stress Reduction Course

This 8-week course is based on the gold-standard Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course developed in the US, but also incorporates some useful CBT/discussion exercises around stress, to help us think about how we approach challenges, stress and difficulty. The course will introduce you to the main mindfulness practices, and consists of 8 Monday evening sessions of 2 hours 15 minutes, and a day retreat on Saturday 17 November. Mindfulness & Stress Reduction Course

This 8-week course is based on the gold-standard Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course developed in the US, but also incorporates some useful CBT/discussion exercises around stress, to help us think about how we approach challenges, stress and difficulty. The course will introduce you to the main mindfulness practices, and consists of 8 Monday evening sessions of 2 hours 15 minutes, and a day retreat on Saturday 17 November. Mindfulness & Stress Reduction Course

This 8-week course is based on the gold-standard Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course developed in the US, but also incorporates some useful CBT/discussion exercises around stress, to help us think about how we approach challenges, stress and difficulty. The course will introduce you to the main mindfulness practices, and consists of 8 Monday evening sessions of 2 hours 15 minutes, and a day retreat on Saturday 17 November. This 8-week course is based on the gold-standard Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course developed in the US, but also incorporates some useful CBT/discussion exercises around stress, to help us think about how we approach challenges, stress and difficulty. Musical virtuoso Jyotsna Srikanth is Europe’s foremost Indian violinist. Her music illuminates Carnatic musical tradition in kaleidoscope colour, with a sound that’s deeply rooted in south Indian classical music alongside western classical music. Described as “extraordinary and versatile” by The Guardian, the sought-after violinist and composer is currently in demand as a solo musician, alongside working on innovative collaborative musical projects with artists as diverse as the Bollywood Brass Band to Swedish folk musicians.
