Location
The Mill
7-11 Coppermill Lane

My Pilates mat classes are a chance for you to have time for yourself. You will learn the fundamentals of Pilates and further your practice. Pilates offers something for everyone. You will lengthen and strengthen your muscles. You will move body, soul and mind to music every week. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a small groups class to get hands on adjustments and corrections (if you want them!) I like variety in my classes so you wont be doing the same thing every week. I firmly believe that Pilates is for everyone – movement is key!

Location
Walthamstow toy library and play centre

Hi,

My name is Harry – The gentle parenting consultant (www.thegentleparentingconsultant.com).

This is a great workshop for parents looking to better understand their children’s behaviour and apply gentle and effective approaches to manage behaviour, specifically tantrums. The workshop is aimed at parents of children between 2-5 years but is also helpful for those with younger babies looking to prepare themselves for when their children are a bit older.

I have over 25 years experience and my approaches have amazing results and feedback. We will be looking at:

– Common reasons why children behave the ways they do?

– What gentle parenting is and an overview of gentle discipline

– Evidence based, gentle approaches to manage behaviour

– Take home resources and approaches to manage difficult behaviour, specifically tantrums

I really like to see couples at my events as I think it’s so valuable for couples to be reading off the same page. So, I am offering a £10.00 discount for any couples who attend and will offer your 2 tickets for £40.00.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Harry

Testimonials

Just wanted to let you know that Jacob’s behaviour has improved so much, all thanks to your advice. Gentle parenting is really the way to parent. Rupam – Mother of Jacob 5 years

I discovered The Gentle Parenting Consultant on Instagram after stumbling across one of his inspirational quotes and it resonated with my current situation.  I have become an avid follower and look forward to seeing his posts.

I am a single, working mum of toddler triplets and the stresses and strains of daily life where making me anxious.  I was really struggling to keep my cool.I noticed on Instagram that Harry was offering a free 30 min consultation and I was lucky enough to be chosen. The chat I had with Harry was very enlightening, the information and advice he gave made sense and was achievable with triplet toddlers. He had a calming and soothing persona and was very positive about my strengths and offered me mechanisms to cope with my weaknesses.  He helped me realise I was only human and I was not failing as a mum.  I highly recommend Harry and I look forward to future Gentle Parenting consultations in the very near future. – Lesley

Thank you so much Harry. It’s great to be reminded that it isn’t a conscious thing our son (5 years) is doing to upset us. Your talks are really useful in helping me to stay calm. Charles – Father of 2 (2 and 4 years)

Hi Harry, We have had some amazing progress overnight. Thanks so much for the visit Harry. It was really helpful and I’m feeling Positive!Edith – Mother of 2 (aged 2 and 7 years)

Stow Film Lounge presents Quadrophenia (Franc Roddam, 1979, Cert 18)

Two rival youth cults emerge – the mods and the rockers – with explosive consequences. For Jimmy (Phil Daniels) and his sharp-suited, pill-popping, scooter-riding mates, being a mod is a way of life, it’s their generation. Together they head off to Brighton for and orgy of drugs, thrills and headline-making, violent clashes with the rockers.

Set to the music of The Who’s seminal rock opera, Quadrophenia is still one of the most definitive films of its time, vividly capturing the youth culture of Britain in the 1960s.

Doors open 6.45pm, Film 7.00pm, Close 9.30pm

Refreshments:

Popcorn and ice-creams will be available in the cinema. Mirth’s bar will also be open.

Saturday 18th May
