East London Dance hands over programming duties to its future innovators for a weekend-long interactive celebration of dance.

The Fi.ELD Festival: InnerEast invites you to explore the body & mind benefits of moving in different ways by experimenting with movement across different forms, spaces and interactive media.

360 Movement & Poetry Workshop by Edalia Day

In this practical workshop led by LeCoq trained poet and performer Edalia Day, you can unlock new ways to use your body as a writing tool and discover how to generate new poetry inspired by a rainbow of sensory stimuli.

In:Motion Photographic Exhibition by Lomography UK

Lomography UK celebrate the diversity and creativity of dance in a fun, colourful and free exhibition where you can discover award-winning images of movement captured around the world as part of the In:Motion photography competition.

SHIFT with Casson & Friends

SHIFT is a wellbeing movement workshop led by artist Hannah Rotchell from Casson & Friends. Escape your mind and allow your body to move and explore.

Loosely based on The Dance WE Made, Casson & Friends record-breaking interactive performance, this engaging workshop for all ages gives you the chance to move, connect and have fun – with no dance experience required.

360 Reaction Room By The Yonis and Julian Woods

Enter the Reaction Room to the sound of freshly-cut beats and dive into our freestyle areas, where dance and music artists wait to activate and respond to your movements.

You will also gain an insight into The Yoni’s creation process through ‘Open Band Practice’, an improvised collaborative session, with Julian Woods on guitar, aimed at finding joy in movement.

Portuguese Drums and Movement Workshop By O7 Drum Project

Dare to be inspired and try something new! Join O7 Drum Project to learn how to play the drums, move freely, be part of a team and stick to the rhythm in a drum parade.

360 Performance with Kofi Mingo (Fri 26 & Sat 27, 6.45 – 7.45pm)

Rain Crew’s Kofi Mingo presents Innervation in Motion, an immersive dance work commissioned by InnerEast that explores and showcases dance genres from 90s hip hop, house and more.

Just Jam – Post Festival Party (Sat 27, 7.30 – 9pm)

On Saturday night only, your £6 performance ticket also gives you access to celebrate your InnerEast, and groove out at our closing festival jam hosted by DJ Chris. Don’t miss the beat!
