16th November 2017
7:00pm - 9:00pm
Join Steph Davies and Emma Hammond for an experimental workshop in which we will be looking at ways to develop the self through creative writing. Using fun exercises and writing prompts we will consider how the stories you tell yourself can both empower and disempower you, and explore the benefits ofconstructing a personal narrative that more accurately reflects your reality.
Steph is a local coach, who operates from the idea that if we acknowledge we are responsible for something, we then have full power and influence over it. She has worked with freelancers, self-employed and business owners, providing the guidance and support to get from where they are now, to where they want to be.
Emma Hammond is a poet who has self-published two pamphlets and has three full collections with Flipped Eye, Penned in the Margins and ZimZalla. Emma has taught various courses at the Poetry School as well as in conjunction with Cambridge University and also tutors one on one.
